Grand Canyon & Las Vegas
Part of the plan of the trip was to do a helicopter flight over Fox Glacier in New Zealand, but the weather had put an end to that, so I decided that it was worth driving up to Las Vegas and doing a helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon and Lake Mead. I also decided to do the flight that involved landing on the canyon floor and having a champagne lunch. The flight consisted of an older couple from Staines, their son who now lived in L.A. and two girls from Devon doing a world tour.
