Mount Ruapehu, Wellington and the Inter-Island Ferry
On these two days we travelled from Rotorua to Wellington, which was all day on the bus, and then the following day we had the morning in Wellington before catching the ferry over to the South Island and eventually arriving in Nelson around 9 in the evening. Passing along the shores of Lake Taupo, and into a wet and cold Wellington, it was also the chance to have a night out.
